Chris Nelson became the head athletic trainer at Weatherford College in 2010.  He holds a master’s degree in Advanced Athletic Training from the University of Northern Iowa and an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  He is a nationally-certified athletic trainer from the Board of Certification and licensed in the state of Texas.  

Chris is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. He and his wife, Stephanie, have two children, Ainsley and Brody.
