The Weatherford College and Collin College basketball teams met Wednesday night at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center, and Collin won both games of the conference doubleheader.

The women's game final was 88-64. Three Lady Coyotes finished in double-figures: Destiny McAfee (13 points), Adela Valkova (12) and Sumaiyah Abdur-Rahim (10).

The Lady Coyotes are 16-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play, in a third place tie with Hill College. Collin leads the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference at 6-1.

Collin won the men's game, 95-61. The Cougars shot 50.7 percent from the field and made 11 three-pointers. WC's D'Michael Bellfield led all scorers with 20 points and 9 rebounds.

The Coyotes are 14-7 overall and 2-3 in conference, tied with Temple College for fourth place in the NTJCAC. Collin trails No. 1 Ranger by two games at 5-2.

Both WC teams travel to Hillsboro to face Hill College Saturday.
