Weatherford College was ranked No. 20 in not one but two national rankings released Monday, March 20, by the National Junior College Athletic Association. WC's softball and baseball teams both came in at 20th among their respective Division I NJCAA squads.
The WC softball team, at 22-7 overall, stood pat at the 20th position, the same as the previous week. The Coyotes are 9-3 in conference play, currently in second place behind Grayson, the No. 3 team in the nation.
The WC baseball team entered the national rankings for the first time this season with a 20-7 overall record through Saturday. The Coyotes are tied with Ranger College for the top spot in conference at 6-2.
