For the first time, Weatherford College is hosting a National Junior College Athletic Association postseason golf tournament. WC is hosting the NJCAA Women’s Golf Southwest District Tournament at Canyon West Monday through Wednesday, April 29 to May 1.
At the urging of his friend, TCU golfer Gustav Frimodt, Emil Lovstrup made his way to the United States to play golf for Weatherford College.
The Weatherford College men’s golf team had two top 10 finishers at the Blinn Invitational April 8–9 at Brenham Country Club. Emil Lovstrup finished fifth, and Braylon Mahanay was eighth.
In a field packed with top teams, the Weatherford College men’s golf team finished in third place out of 16 at the Oakwood Intercollegiate at Oakwood Country Club in Enid, Oklahoma.
