Tindall wins Women’s All-Around Title at Vernon Rodeo

Weatherford College's Kaydence Tindall cinched the Women's All-Around Title this past weekend at the Vernon College Rodeo, and the Coyotes took first place in three events. 

Tindall took the breakaway roping championship with a 4.3 on two, taking first place in both rounds. Her teammate Harley Meged was close behind in second place. Tindall also tied for fourth in goat tying. 

Trent Sorey took first in steer roping with a 13.6 in the first go and an 11.4 in the second round. Teammate Cather Gasperson finished third. 

Cole Clemons won the tiedown roping championship with 17.5 on two. Teammates Zaine Mikita tied for second, Colton Green finished fifth and Travis Staley came in sixth 

With 34.72 on two, Sophie Dunn tied for third place in barrel racing. 

Hunter Ruiz placed third overall in bull riding and Brody Hasenack finished sixth. 

In team roping, Cashton Weidenbener and Cole Smith (Cisco) finished fourth after a 5.1 good for second place in the first round and a no time on their second go. Riley Maples and Zaine Mikita came in ninth overall.
