Weatherford College's Cash Fretwell and Jett Stewart both brought back event titles from the Texas Tech University Rodeo this past weekend.  

Fretwell took the steer roping title with a 30.5 on two. Teammate Trent Sorey was third.  

Stewart and John Hisel (South Plains) placed first in team roping with 12.1 on two. Luke Williams and Zach Ross (Ranger) finished fourth, and Fretwell and Zach Nicholson came in sixth.  

After a first-place time in the opening round, Mitchie Story took fourth overall in saddle bronc.  

Tessa Arnold also came in first in round one and fourth overall in barrel racing.  

In breakaway roping, Harley Meged placed fourth, and Addy Gose finished 10th.  

Brody Hasenack was fifth in bull riding.  

In tiedown roping, Lane Webb placed third, and Cash Fuesz finished 10th.
