Coyote athletes Ryne Rodriguez and Jack Arthur were both named baseball players of the week for April 2–8 by the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.  

A freshman first baseman from Fort Worth, Rodriguez garnered the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week honors by tossing a four-hit complete game shutout in his only outing. He recorded eight strikeouts and yielded no walks in seven innings of work. 

A sophomore outfielder from Flower Mound, Arthur was the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week. He batted .500 with a double and four homers. Overall, he drove in eight runs and scored times time.
