Weatherford College's Cade Crossland and Louka Daoust are the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Baseball Players of the Week.
A sophomore left-hander from Rockwall, Crossland netted the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Week Award. En route to helping the Coyotes grab a win, he struck out nine batters while allowing just two hits in six innings of work.
A sophomore from Repentigny, Quebec, Daoust was the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week. Overall, he batted .545 for the week with a home run, five RBI, four walks, four stolen bases and four runs scored.
Through Tuesday, the Coyotes were 18-4 in pre-conference play and start conference games on Wednesday, March 13, with a home doubleheader against Vernon College. Games will be played at noon and 2 p.m. at Williams Ballpark. View a full schedule at wcathletics.com.
