Weatherford College and Grayson College split a baseball doubleheader in Denison Thursday.

         Grayson took the first game 10-9. WC had an 8-0 lead in the top of the third inning, but Grayson scored in each of their next four innings, including four runs in the bottom of the third and three in the sixth.

         WC's Uriah Walters went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Luka Daoust was 2-for-2 with two runs and a walk.

         The Coyotes won the second game 8-3. Daoust was a tough out, going 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Kasen Wells was 3-for-6 with an RBI.

         Cody Morse struck out nine batters, allowing just three hits and one run with four walks over five innings. Tanner Wiggins logged two innings of relief with no hits and no walks.

         The Coyotes (32-10 overall, 14-4 conference) and Vikings (17-21, 8-10) will face off Saturday in a noon doubleheader at Roger Williams Ballpark for Mental Health Awareness Day.
