Weatherford College basketball players Rodney Johnson and Joey Madimba earned first-team all-conference and all-region honors in the awards announced by the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference and NJCAA Region V.              

Johnson, a 6-foot-5-inch sophomore forward from Bryan, averaged 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game this season for the Coyotes. His 55.5 percent field goal percentage was third in the conference, as was his rebounds average. 

Madimba, a 6-5 sophomore forward from Mansfield, was third in scoring in the NTJCAC with 18.9 points per game. He shot 51.7 percent from the field and 34 percent from three-point range. 

WC's Jaden Rogers and C.J. Evans were second team all-conference selections. Ramondo Battle and Wayne Wiggins were honorable mention honorees. 

On the women's side, Adreanna Waddle, Celise Bobbitt, Mikayla Green and Briarley Rogers were honorable mention selections.
