Collin College won both basketball games against Weatherford College on Wednesday night in Plano. 

The Cougars won the men's game 83-74. After trailing by 17 at the half, the Coyotes outscored the Cougars 47-39 in the second half, but it wasn't enough. 

WC's Wayne Wiggins led all scorers with 21 points. Jared Washington added 16. TJ Thomas led Collin with 22 points. 

The WC men are 12-5 overall and 1-1 in conference. Collin improved to 16-3 and 3-0. 

The Collin women, ranked No. 2 in the nation, won 100-64. MacKenzie Buss scored 36 points, and Waiata Jennings added 31 for the Lady Cougars. 

Collin improved to 16-0 overall and 3-0 in conference. The Lady Coyotes dropped to 5-10 overall and 0-2 in conference play. 

Weatherford will travel to Denison on Saturday to face Grayson College.
