Weatherford College's basketball teams swept Southwestern Christian College in Terrell on Wednesday night. The Lady Coyotes won 62-56, and the Coyotes won 71-65. 

Trinitee Johnson and Janavia Gage each scored 20 points for the Lady Coyotes. Gage added a whopping 20 rebounds. 

Weatherford improved to 2-4 in conference play and 7-12 overall. 

In the men's game, Jared Washington and Wayne Wiggins combined for 51 of WC's 71 points. Washington ended with 26 points, four rebounds and three steals, while Wiggins turned in 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists. 

Washington is fifth in the nation in total points scored (464) and 12th in points per game (22.1). 

Handy Toussaint ended up with nine points and 12 rebounds. 

The Coyotes have won three of their last four games, improving to 15-6 overall and 3-2 in conference. 

Both WC teams travel to Hillsboro on Saturday to face Hill College.
