Chris comes to Weatherford College from the University Arkansas Rich Mountain (2022-2023) where he was serving as an Assistant Softball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. In his time at UARM he recruited the incoming 2023 & 2024 softball recruiting classes and assisted in transitioning current players to 4 year universities after graduation. Rich Mountain posted a 29-24 record (15-9 conference) this past season and finished 3rd at JUCO Region 14 tournament to the #1 nationally ranked Murray State College Aggies.
The previous 7 years were spent coaching select girls fastpitch teams with Centex Buzz Fastpitch, Texas Glory and American Freedom organizations.
Chris attended Hubbard High School and is a 1988 graduate of Texas State Technical College in Waco. He has been of resident of Weatherford since 2005 and has one daughter, Hanna, who is a 2023 Weatherford HS graduate and will also be playing college softball in the fall.
