Haylee Williams became head coach of the Weatherford College softball program in 2013.
Through the 2023 season, Williams’ teams are 372-184 overall, including nine postseason berths, two conference championships and a national tournament berth.
The coaches of the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference named her the Coach of the Year in 2017.
Williams became the first assistant softball coach in Weatherford College history in the spring of 2011, earning the head coaching job in the spring of 2013.
Prior to her move to Weatherford, Williams worked as an assistant softball coach at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for two years. At Henderson State, she coached the top defense in the Gulf South Conference and the 13th-ranked defense in the country.
The Texas native played softball at Hill College for two years, earning All-Star and All-Conference honors at second base. She then transferred to Henderson State University, earning All-Gulf South Conference honors at third base, as well as Academic All-American status.
Williams earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management and a master's degree in Sports Administration, both from Henderson State.
