The Weatherford College volleyball team continued to roll through conference play, sweeping Vernon College on the road Wednesday night, 25-19, 25-14, 25-17. 

WC has won eight straight matches and 24 straight sets. The No. 8 Coyotes are 18-2 overall and 3-0 in Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play. 

Selanny Puente had 10 kills for WC Wednesday night. Brooke McHale registered eight kills and seven digs. Meagan Ledbetter had eight kills and 12 digs. 

Weatherford has a critical match against Hill College on Saturday in Hillsboro. Hill (10-11, 3-0 NTJCAC) beat WC in last season's Region V Tournament final. 

After another road match on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Ranger, the Coyotes return to the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center on Saturday, Sept. 30, against Temple College at 1 p.m.
