The Weatherford College softball team improved to 6-0 in conference play and 19-4 overall after sweeping Hill College at Stuart Field on Wednesday, 9-7 and 8-7. 

Hill scored four runs in the top of the second of the first game to take a 4-2 lead. But a three-run fourth and a four-run sixth put Weatherford up for good. 

Lencia Powell was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI. Carter Smith was 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. 

In game two, Darlene Montoya hit a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning. She finished the game with five RBI. 

Annabelle Guay went 3-for-3 with a run, and Lilly Bean turned in three RBI on a 2-for-3 performance. 

WC travels to Hillsboro to face Hill on Saturday for a noon doubleheader. The team returns to Stuart Field on Saturday, March 18, for a noon doubleheader against McLennan Community College.
