Lady Coyotes beat Cisco by 26

The Weatherford College Lady Coyotes won their second conference game in three days with an 83-57 victory over Cisco College Wednesday night at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center.

Mikayla Green turned in a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Briarley Rogers led WC's scorers with 19 points. She hit five three-pointers added 10 assists. Adreanna Waddle added 12 points and seven rebounds, Celise Bobbitt turned in 11 points and Helena Svilberg had 10 points.

With the win over Cisco and Monday's win over Ranger, WC (11-13 overall, 4-8 conference) climbed back into the race to qualify for the Region V Tournament. As of Wednesday, the Lady Coyotes were one game behind the fourth-place spot in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference standings with three games remaining in the regular season.

Since Cisco does not field a men's team, the WC men faced Loyalty College Prep Wednesday and won 90-77.

Both WC teams will finish the regular season with three road games: at Southwestern Christian in Terrell Feb. 25, at Hill College in Hillsboro March 1 and at Temple College March 4.
