For the first time, Weatherford College is hosting the Region V basketball tournament this March. In order to play in the tournament, each team must finish in the top four of their respective conferences to enjoy that home court advantage in the postseason.

McKinley reaches 1,000 wins
Bob McKinley, Weatherford College’s longtime athletic director and women’s basketball coach, reached the 1,000 wins plateau as the Lady Coyotes defeated Paris Junior College Friday night at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center, 89-84.
