A 74-66 Weatherford College women's basketball win over Howard College Tuesday night has given Friday night's game the chance to be something special. With one more victory, head coach and athletic director Bob McKinley will hit 1,000 wins in his WC coaching career. 

The Lady Coyotes face Paris Junior College in the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center on Friday, Dec. 8. Tip off is scheduled for 5 p.m. 

McKinley has a career record of 999 wins and 522 losses since joining the WC coaching staff in 1977. He is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association Women's Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame and is a 12-time Coach of the Year awardee from the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference. 

General admission tickets are available at the gate. Tickets are $5 for adults; students, seniors and WC employees are free.
