Weatherford improved to 10-17 overall and 5-9 in conference play.

In the men's game, Southwestern Christian hit a basket in the closing seconds to win, 67-66.

Five WC players scored in double-figures, led by Jared Washington and Jamie Hodges with 15 each. Gordon Magok logged a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

With only two games remaining in the regular season, the Coyotes can clinch a berth in the Region V Tournament with a win over either Hill College on Wednesday or Temple College on Saturday. Both remaining games will be held at WC's Graber Athletic Center, as will the regional tournament March 13-16.
